Anna Frances Carter White, 85, of Memphis, passed away Tuesday, August 4, 2015.

Born July 15, 1930 at Batesville, Arkansas, she was a daughter of the late Harry Carter and Opal Johnson Carter.

Mrs. White was a member of the Holmes Road Church of Christ where she also served as secretary and worked in the nursery. She retired from South Haven Kawasaki & Yamaha dealership as a book keeper after nearly 30 years of service. She had previously worked alongside her husband as owner/operators of White’s Material Handling Equipment Company.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years, Norman White.

Mrs. White is survived by her sons, David White (Cindy), Johnny White and Michael White (Luzia); daughters, Marilyn Newell, and Melissa White; sister, Mary Gaddy; seven grandchildren, Tina, Johnny, Brent, David, Kenny, April and Bubba; ten great-grandchildren; and many other loving family and friends.

Funeral services will be Saturday, 3:00 p.m. at Fuller Hale-South Funeral Chapel with Brother Clarence Fell officiating.

Visitation will be Saturday, 2:00 p.m. until service time.

Burial will follow in Bell Cemetery near Staves (Cleveland County).

A memorial Service will be Sunday, 2p.m. at Holmes Road Church of Christ in Memphis.
